I don't see anything on your account that would restrict you from chatting, can you give us more details on what happens when you try along with details about how you access the site, please?
The chat box doesn't exist for me anymore. It used to be at the bottom of the whole chat area and right above the "stats-settings-fullboard" options.
I'm on a mac and use Chrome. Thx!

Can you please go into your live chess settings, check the box that says "reset live chess layout" and save settings to see if that helps at all?

It says that my email address needs to be varified and i could chat the day before. What do I do?
it says that i havent varified my email yet but i swear i entered the email when i logged in

2019 update: There doesn't seem to be a "reset live chess layout" button anymore, but I fixed my same issue by (1.) Going to Settings>Live Chess, (2.) Making no changes but clicking Save button, (3.) Refreshing.

Is it prohibited to chat on chess.com? Although my chat settings are all open, It won't let me chat to anyone.
It's been weeks now maybe months and I don't think ever violated any rules or anything. Is there an error or how long do I have to wait??
