Yes. I need to add a password to my account to log in some other way than FB, and I don't see that this is possible.

Same problem here! the URL "http://www.chess.com/fb-login" has been blocked from Facebook.
Just go to the chess.com app on Facebook, and it will log you in.
same problem here. and i have a premium account. since I always logged in with facebook, I don't have a password and can't login.
At least a notification would have been nice.

log in the facebok, install, start the chess.com app now you can play
what happend to facebook login in chess.com and I am also facing the same problem

Hey guys, sorry for the delay, a lot have written into the forums on this. If anyone needs an account password, send me a message and I'll issue a temporary one so you can get yourself set up to login without Facebook. It's just a Facebook glitch that is currently getting worked on.

Done! The link to your Facebook page is in your profile, you would need to remove that yourself, it would be in the "Homepage" section :)

Please add a password to my account, I've been trying to log into chess.com on my iPhone and it keeps saying to check iOS Facebook settings (it's already all in there and logged in...)

I just sent you a password reset (after assigning the password), let me know if you haven't received it 
I am also unable to login via facebook in the app and don't have a password...
