This is because you have not followed the Fair Play Policy by abandoning aborting games. You now have to Waite 5 minuets between the games until this ban is lifted in few days.
Well that is poor design of the app if true
The iPhone app is sketchy at best and although I understand the spirit of fair play policy it flat doesn't work well with apple app version becuase it's unstable quite often !
I just paid 99 dollars and through no fault of my own I'm getting this error very often ! If the error is by design then I'm very dn frustrated about the 99 dollars I just spent to be able to play chess on iPhone and have access to the 99 dollar parts of this app!
99 dollars and I get this silly message when trying to start matches? Really !
Fix the app don't punish people who pay you a hundred dang dollars

I have just had the same, but have not abandoned or aborted any games?
I play if im lucky about two games of chess and now this weird popup and reading on other posts its about fair play? I have my lunch, put on the kettle for some coffee and am nowhere IT or advanced enough to understand the reasoning…ps I move in between bites and sips of coffee so not even time wasting which would prob be to ny own detriment?
am i getting “challenge cancelled” bcos my phone died while playing a game? or is it a different issue

Same. Glad this resurfaced. Must be a server bug. I was like crap. Did my 6yo kid ruin my account while playing spell chess ? Lol

I've noticed a few others have posted this question but without reply. After playing a live game when trying to play another this message comes up. Have to wait 10-20 minutes before the glitch goes away. Very annoying.
