Chat in Daily Chess

Is anyone else finding that most of the time they don't get the red star on their Chat tab in a Daily chess game when their opponent has posted something?

It is happening to me regularly and is really annoying, especially since there are also no timestamps so I don't know when I look if a comment I missed was posted days ago or just a few hours ago.

I would send a bug report, but they seem to go down a black hole nowadays so not much point!

I don't play daily anymore, but the bug reports go directly to staff who try to verify/recreate and assign to devs. They don't normally contact the submitter unless there are questions.

I find that if I get a message in a game the first time I visit that daily game the red star is there, but if I make my move without reading the chat message and then later return to that game the red star is gone. Its anecdotal, but that's been my experience a few times.
