Oh thank God! I haven't lost to a bot rated below 1000 for months, and the last couple days I have been absolutely stomped every game. I've even tried turning on takebacks and it doesn't matter, these 850 bots are impenetrable.
Yikes.

Oh man. I really thought I was having brain problems. I was going crazy, I almost deleted my account. Such a relief to hear that it isn't just me.
this is why I was getting beaten by Martin. very new to this app. but when I checked the website version, I could beat Martin easily.
Usually I easily beat 1500 level Antonio today I continuously lost to Martin

I managed to beat Martin ( 250 ) ! Then I thought the problem is solved then moved on to Aron to check it and he crushed me. Then I went back to Martin, and this time he crushes me! What is going on???
I usually play for fun vs Aron, when i dont want to think much, but today he destroyed me and spit on me after. Tbh he was at least on Antonio level or above. I also lost vs Sven 7 times, though it's just a bad day, but then i finally beat him. Interesting what was his actual rating today, this might be an achievement for me...
Thank goodness it was not me. I usually play Jimmy (600) as a warm-up and to feel good about myself because I usually beat that bot 100% of the time. But this morning he was crushing me and out positioning me like crazy. I was beginning to think something was wrong with my brain.
Not to blame all my failings on the app update, but...
I've also noticed my rated puzzles have gotten incredibly difficult over the same span. My puzzle rating is about 1300 and I'm used to the puzzles taking a minute of thinking and then being solved in 3 or 4 moves at the most.
The puzzles I'm being given now take many more abstract moves to solve and I've gotten none of them right for days.
Edit: yeah just checked and I being given puzzles 1000 points above my rating. Nice to know I'm not braindead, but also hurting my ability to enjoy...
And the rest after this are 15 or so more 2300 rated puzzles...
Should we assume that bot's strength is also at 2100 level? But i doubt that i could beat that even once, but i did, maybe just got super lucky. Since i can only draw Antonio at best.
Can we have a fix already? Im a new user that was thinking about getting a membership, but a bug like this shouldnt be taking 2 weeks for a fix
Just rollback for their old playstyles, you guys dont have a backup or something?

Well on the bright side, having the bots so strong forced me to really try hard, and I ended up playing the best chess game of my life with no mistakes and 95%+ accuracy, and finally beat the 250 rated bot after like 8 losses in a row. It is possible!
I'm very disappointed as I have just purchased a premium membership, mainly for the ability to play up to 25 puzzles. Now, with this bug, I'm being given puzzles which are miles above my skill rating and I'm getting practically all of them wrong, there's no point in even trying them. What a waste of money it seems, surely this should have been fixed by now?
Glad I'm not the only person having trouble with the bots recently. I was starting to think I had brain damage when I couldn't even beat the 250 computer.
