Chess.com app won’t load

i need help lmao, it’s been 5-10 minutes and the chess.com app won’t load. right now it’s stuck on the startup screen with the spinning chess board 

Have you tried restarting your device?

Sometimes this happens when a piece dissapears off the board and clogs the gateway. It's an unusual bug.

yea ive restarted my device but it still wont load

Is the problem still persistent? The next step is to delete and reinstall the app.

Delete app -> Restart phone -> Reinstall app

I had the same issue. I have reinstalled the app and the first time I opened it, it worked, but the second time it was doing the same problem again.

Same issue here on iPad. Been loke this for days, it works fine on my android phone.

Have this issue as well. Im on an ipad, its been 5 minutes and nothings happened.

Issue just started for me today on iPhone 12. Uninstall reinstall has fixed it for now. 

Yeah I’ve been having this for maybe 2 weeks or so, I try to open it everyday but it gets stuck on the spinning chess board. It works perfectly fine on the website so idk what’s up.

What version is your app?

On a desktop you should use a browser on the website.

I have been having the exact same issue for 2-3 months and had no success with any of the previous methods.

I have reset my iPad, my account and all the delete reinstall stuff and it won’t work, I also loaded it on an other iPad as it still won’t work I’ve done everything suggested. Any ideas?

My device is a chromebook and it just won't load. It's stuck on a blank screen for some reason

It seems to only be "play bots", and not anything else.

Do you have any plug-ins/add-ons that could be interfering with the code?

I have an Iphone x. Chess.com doesn't load when I open it. I have to turn it off and turn it back on, it will work...but it continues to have loading issues after a few times. Need to fix the app or need a new iphone
