Thank you for your feedback and suggestion for the Chess Mentor program. Please do note that on the Chess Mentor settings page at http://www.chess.com/chessmentor/settings.html you have the option to reset your Chess Mentor rating and history if the clock time becomes a serious problem for you.

I've noticed in Chess Mentor that the clock starts and I'm only 1/2 way thru the reading.Perhaps either a start button for the clock or a button to show board after reading which would also start the clock. Can't play and read at the same time.
