Chess "score" not being updated?

Hello,

Recently when I play a game the pieces that have been captured don't reflect the actual game I'm playing? IE The software will show myself or my opponent has captured pieces that are still on the board and there is no running +/- points tally.

Is there a way to fix this problem?
