Chess.Com App 1.5

It hasn't been submitted - reason being it's going to be a BIG patch & we think people are going to like it a lot more.  We've addressed issues with notifications, animation speed, computer analysis, overall performance & usability.  It's taken longer than hoped, but it's a much better experience and we're just cleaning up a few last issues before sending it to Apple.

On their end, it's not really consistent. The last update was less than a week!

We are there!  The app was submitted a couple of days ago (sorry for not shouting out).  I think it's a pretty huge improvement!  :D

The upgraded app is a huge improvement and gives back all of the things that were lost in the conversion from 1.4 to 1.5 - I think all of the complaints I've heard have been addressed and then some.

The new update is out? When can I download it?

Very sorry to hear that!  Whitestallion are you also using an iPhone 4?

It seems like in both your cases, the app is actually crashing.  As such it would be super helpful if you could send me a crash log after the next time you sync your device with your computers.  That is by far the most revealing thing we could look at, to figure out and resolve whatever the problem is...

Ok, so cool... We're in the same hotel.  Look for a guy in a Chess.com ball-cap tomorrow, and you can just show me the problem. 

(That won't actually help, but its always nice to meet other members.) 

i updated and it works perfectly (and much faster). but we do need to get to the bottom of the problems...

I updated and now can't make a move in the first five waiting games.  I am using iPhone 4.  When I try to make a move I can't move my pieces.  When I click on the analize feature I can move my opponent's piece first and then my piece but I can't move either in the game mode.  Yes it is my move when I enter the analize mode.

Did you remove the old app first or install over it ?

guys: some really big bugs just got introduced - our apologies! looks like you can't move in any thematic games where it was black to move first. we're working on it! meanwhile, you'll have to make those moves on the site. very sorry!
