Chess.com email and Google Chrome

I use the Google Chrome Browser and can't get it to open my Chess.com email account.  The account runs fine on Firefox, so it's not an Chess.com issue.  But still, what do i need to do to get it to work with Google???  Any and all help would be appreciated!

Is it possible that a Chrome has opened a dialog window and is waiting for you to type something ... but you have not noticed this window? (I get a similar effect sometimes when trying to import a picture into a forum posting using Chrome.)

Do you get a specific error message? What are the symptoms?

Dirkus

No error message, but where it should open up with the full page/window for mail, it just opens up Notepad with a bunch of jibberish.  I did ask Chess.com about it and they  said that the mail window won't open on Chrome.  Evidently it only opens with IE or Firefox.

yeah me too, even on Firefox I can't access my inbox.

I haven't had any issues with it on Firefox (which is my primary browser).  I have since heard from Chess.com and they simply said that the e-mail feature will not work with Google Chrome.  Perhaps down the road, but not now.

Hi guys!

Any fix for this? I receive the php file downloaded, no emails, no views at all!

artfizz

No fix: don't try to use Chrome for chess.com email.

You could always use an email client ... see email-issue.
