  I can open www.ktunnel.com but when I typed in http://new.livestream.com/ ,it says this :

" The connection was reset     
      
          The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading .... " 

( same msg as when I try to connect directly )

I am connecting from my home .. I don't think I hv a censored internet.

( except for you-tube n' facebook )

Well, if you can't even connect to this forum then clearly it is blocked for some reason, no? Because there can't be any technical i.e. software issues opening a simple forum.

Maybe you should ask your ISP instead then? 

Also, I haven't used this ktunnel but I know http://www.1proxy.de/ for example, so you could try this too but if ktunnel's working then it won't make a difference.

Yeah then clearly you somehow have the site blocked by either some software or your ISP. If you want, you can try changing your dns and see if that works. Some sites that are blocked by ISPs can be accessed that way.

Ok,Nvmind abt changing my DNS already.

I can now open livestream.com using another proxy and I will try to see if chess,com/tv works when there is a show on .

( I think it should now )

I can also open the livestream.com forum link given above now as well as

both livestream.com/chesscom and livestream.com/chesscomlive now.

So I guess it must be livestream.com that is being blocked.

Kikyo_Sushi, that's great and you're welcome, but I have to say, using proxies is definitely not the ideal solution to these matters. They can slow down your internet, and it basically means you are connecting to the web through someone else's computers first, and this can bring various risks of online security.

I'm not an expert on this, but as far as I know, using different DNS is safer and it's worth trying to access some sites which are blocked by ISPs.

Have you figured out why livestream was blocked in the first place?

Yeah,using proxy does slow down my internet connection a lot !

Livestream is blocked for the same reasons that Youtube n' FaceBook r blocked here.

The match doesn't start until 10am PST, which is 4 and 1/2 hours from now.
