One of my games is marked "Closed Fair Play". What does this mean? Has the game been stopped or has my opponent been banned?

Yes, your opponent was banned for Fair Play violations:

The game will time out and you will get the win.

I'm sad for my opponent, but I'm happy he was caught, and I'm interested to know how they manage to work this out. happy.png

there's a club for that - https://www.chess.com/club/cheating-forum

talk of cheating in general forums usually leads to the forum being locked by staff.

In the cheating forum it's important not to name suspects whose accounts are still open, but you can freely talk about those who have been caught...

You got one of your opponents banned in MID-GAME?  Dude, that's awesome.

@Marc-Loon did nothing to get his opponent banned that is purely his opponent's fault
