(I've had 4-8 of my posts vanish in such a fashion.  Not that they were offensive, just that the site seems to like to 'slant' topics in one direction or another.)

This is a chess site.  How could anything under the sun being discussed on a chess site's forum not be entirely chess related?

No, my point was that any thoughts by a chess player on a chess website's forum, are chess related, by definition (imo).

Your argument contains the Division Fallacy. A whole may have a certain property, but that does not imply that each piece of the whole also has that property. Just because the site has the property that it is chess-related does not imply everything on the site is.

The moderation here may be inconsistent and erratic at times, but I seriously doubt that this was the intent.
