Connection issues during turnaments

Hi. I sometimes host a turnament, with 20-30 participants and there is always one or more, who has connection issues. When the round starts, the programm thinks he isnt there, and he automatically lost. Despite being there, and making his move. And the internet is fine. In the other rounds he can play wihtout anny issues. Why is that? And what can be done about it?

They probably should refresh a little before the first round starts.
