Only staff can do that. Either raise a support ticket or name the thread here and maybe they will pick it up.
Is there no reference value in retaining the old threads?

I don't think so, in some cases it just show how stupid some peoples posted or it was a fun threads and the OP is embrassed heh.

Yeah, dude; If two people disagree, they gotta just pretend the other doesn't exist and continue living in a utopian little bubble where none of their ideas are challenged. If you post an idea in the forums and someone says something you don't like about it, you should be able to forget the whole thing ever happened. Better yet - people shouldn't be allowed to post at all, that way everyone can stay in their own little bubble and agree with themselves and be blissful in ignorance.
Take this thread for example.

Other people made as much effort as you did to think about and reply to that, the fact that you might disagree with what they say is of no consequence.
So far, 4 out of 16 posts were yours, how can you justify the idea that the whole thread belongs to you? How can you justify deleting other people's opinions?

You can erase the text of a post, just not delete the topic. This is because, while you may own the text you post, you do not own the thread. If you could delete a thread, you are effectively erasing other peoples post. Do you think you have the right to do so?
