Deleting messages from chess.com staff

II don't seem to be able to delete messages from the chess.com staff. When I select the check box next to them and press the delete button nothing happens. Can someone tell me how to get rid of these things?

I assume it has something to do with buying a membership.

you should be able to delete ANY message - messages from CHESScom are no different. what browser are you using? you should be able to just click on the DELETE button on the message. or, checkbox next to the message and then DELETE. are you able to delete OTHER messages?

I am using Internet Explorer v6.0 as a browser. I'm new to the site and messages from staff members of chess.com are the only ones I have received to date.

Erik -

 I was able to delete the message that you left for me without any problems (but then it had a "Delete" button inside of the message when I opened it which the others do not). I am still unable to delete any of the other messages either from the message list of from the opened messages.

i just impersonated your account and was easily able to delete any messages. you can either click on the "DELETE" button when viewing the message, or select the checkbox and the "DELETE" button when viewing your inbox.

what browser are you using??
