Well, that's either correct or incorrect, but hardly offensive, either way.

I promise to not take offence if someone errantly calls me gay. Or straight, for that matter. They'd just be wrong, that's all.

Heh, someone on here recently suggested that I was intellectually challenged; I calmly pointed out the rudeness of this attack upon my character and suggested that courtesy is a better way of comporting oneself, and lo and behold, a moderator swooped in and removed... my post. Go figure ;)

One of my pet peeves is people who look on these terms as derogatory. I have an aunt-in-law and a good friend who are lesbians. They are both great people. I don't see why these terms continue to be used as/taken as insults.

If I were working on something that extensive, I'd probably save it in Word.

if you're a lesbian and someone calls you a lesbian, it's not offensive.  plus, who gives a shit? it's the internet.  we all already knew/thought the lesbian thing anyway.  i actually thought she was a dude pretending to be a lesbian for a long time.

I'm sorry, but I'll always consider gay/lesbian derogatory. I just think it's discusting. If you're gay I don't want to see it, hear about it, or even know about it. Basically, if you act like a 'normal' person, if that even exists, then I could care less if you're gay.

P.S. I have an aunt that's lesbian. Same thing applies to her. If she were bringing her girlfriend everywhere and kissing and stuff, I wouldn't want anything to do with her.
