Yeah I read that, I was just sort of hoping they would still be willing to do something about it, like refund the rating points lost (without penalizing the other player of course). But I suppose if they don't then I will just chalk it up to "beta".
Just to satisfy myself that I could win from that position without too much trouble, I set up the position in Chessmaster and played it on the hardest level of difficulty. It gave me a harder fight than I was expecting, and the first time it managed to pull off a draw (lol).
The second time I beat it without much trouble.
I am playing white. I had over 20 minutes left on my clock when I was disconnected from the server while in the end position of this game I've posted. From this position it would be simple to stave off Black's attack, when my huge lead in material would make the game an easy win. But I was disconnected in this won position in a game with a player rated over 100 points lower than me, so I have taken a huge rating hit and the game is listed in my record as "lost by resignation" when that is not the case. Please help!
