Disconnection

maybe your pc that's old/slow?

no its quite new so don't think its that either

change pc. i have experienced this before. it's not that it's old or slow. it' about adoptable to the computer system.

i joined the site few days ago only and i have the same problem .

i got a message from chess.com not to disconnect and not to try to make my opponent wait unneccessarily while in fact i was suffering from my bad connection at home.

i know that my connection at home is very slow and bad , but i have a good one at office . but the problem at office that you may be interrupted suddenly by an urgent call or interferences . sorry for inconvenience.

The message is automatic, there is nothing you can say to escape the penalty if you disconnect at home. You can resign when at the office.

I get disconected even if I have a very good connection.

I had the same problem. There's a write-up somewhere on the site.

My problem was that I used Internet Explorer. I changed to Google Chrome and the problem disappeared. 

I changed to google chrome last night from internet explorer, i have not been disconnected since and my connection appears alot quicker
