It is a pity. File a ticket. Click "help & support" at the bottom of the page (next to the green pawn). Takes you to the FAQ's page. Small greyed out "contact Support" on lower left. Clicking that takes you to the "file a ticket" page.
Disrespectful users
I would suggest not caring what some random idiot thinks about your country. Nonetheless there are the other options discussed above.
Thank you guys, I think that I'm calmed down I will let it skip this time. But now I know what to do for the next time.
I've had about four people try to trash talk me in five years of playing here, but I haven't played as many games as some people do.
i mean you guys have no talk during the game? something that somehow causes misunderstanding?just after game finishes your oponent starts abusive talk?
chess players in general are a## holes, you caring what they say, is the real problem. toughen up, it will be Ok
and since you make such a statement it means you are among minorities who arenot a##hole, right?
Guys I just wanted to know the procedure for this kind of cases.
@tesla1: I think that what joeschmo123 wanted to say is that there are some people like that. Many times when we talk we generalize without thinking too much what we are saying. But I think that he didn't want to insult other members he just wanted to give me an advice. And about your questions I didn't have many discussions, i think that this is my first quite "heavy" one. I normally like to add other members as friends and discuss about chess and this kind of conversations are the ones that makes you improve your game. Sometimes there are misunderstandings as you say but sometimes is quite clear that your opponent is offending you.
Qualt
That player was only acting that way because he wasn't with arm's reach of you.
Had he been within slapping distance, he would be far more respectful.
I once was playing someone in live otb in Washington Square Park a long time ago and I was squeezing him slowly on the board and he was getting madder and madder and I thought he was going to attack me physically, fortunately we did not come to blows. What I'm saying its far better to have a disagreement here on chess.com than to get into a fight in the street someplace. So no matter what someone says to you here, its still better than actual sticks and stones.
Qualt you could be doing the rest of us a favor by reporting abusive opponents. If the staff gets enough complaints about a member I presume they will 86 him/her.

Hi, I really don't want to do this but I would like to report a user that has been disrespectful with me and even more with my country. I will not do it in this way I would like to contact a moderator or somebody in charge to do it. I feel really angry about it and I don't know if there is any kind of policy or rules about this but should be. Please let me know how to report it. I think that users simply can not insult and curse other users just because they lose a chess game. It's a pity.
