Droid App bugs

Error! It is not your move.

 - Yes, it damned well is my move.

Error! Illegal move.

 - I assure you, the move is legal.

Getting the above error messages a lot of the time, despite installing updates of the app whenever appropriate. Any idea why these bugs are present and whether they're likely to get fixed? 

I haven't figured out yet any cause for them; in each case I just have to retry making the move several times until it lets me.

Addendum:

It seems to have to do with the game being confused with another game. Sometimes it will show a different opponent's name at the top than what it should be for the game in question.

Thus, if it is not my move in the game with the other named person, it will tell me it's not my move in the game that I've actually selected and that is actually displayed.

If it *is* my move in the game with the other named person, it will tell me that it's not a legal move, because it's showing me one board and processing the move as if it belonged on another.

WTF? I did not resign this game. I resigned the game next to it, and then wondered when looking at my games list why the lost game that I had resigned was still in progress. I resigned the lost game again, and thought nothing of it, noting how buggy the Droid app is.

Then today I notice that "I" resigned a game that was just about in the transition from opening to midgame, in which I liked my position. Fortunately, playing someone nearly half my rating, he had challenged me to an unrated game. But still, this is very alarming:

I think the real issue is that you could've won the knight on d4, rather than play h5. I used tried to use chess.com on a blackberry with the app once (on a blackberry), and it was pretty unreliable too. 

Happily, it's an unrated takebacks game with a friend (hence some odd looking moves for a 1600-something vs a 800-something player); in fact we're playing the continuation of the variation now in a new game (I'm resisting the urge to say the continuation of the variation in anticipation of the... etc, Dr. Seuss style).

But yeah, it's very convenient to play on my phone, but very annoying when these things happen.

I believe there is a known issue where, if you upgrade the app from a previous version, this kind of thing happens.  Try completely uninstalling the app and then installing the new version and see if that helps.
