False reports for verbal abuse

Hi firstly, today i received an information message today and it said i was verbally abusive but i never use chat, i don't even write any word in it. Is Ihis information messages from chess.com are automated ? Or the reports examined and this informations sent ?

You should write to support@chess.com to say that you never chat and that's it's not possible for you to have been verbally abusive.

They don't reveal a lot about their process but I think they rely on reports from your opponents and whether or not you have a history.  Apparently some people use multiple logins to report other users.

I believe someone reporting you for abuse may flag an automated response if there are too many of them. That could be for posts in the forum, due to game reports, etc.

Hi, same thing happened to me today, they informed me that "my account could be closed or restricted". I was speechless. I immediately wrote an e-mail to support. It seems that nothing changed since your post. I hate that chess.com supports sour losers like this. They probably report you from many accounts they have which is also a violation of fair play policy. I am seriously considering switching to Lichess only...
