Here is the official chess.com phone number. I had ended up calling my bank because it charged me 119 dollars for a monthly subscription and they gave me the official phone number. Here : (800) 318-2827.

Pretty sure that just is a voicemail that ends up opening a ticket. Just as easy to open a ticket.

800 numbers don't cost anything for US callers, they're toll free. Not entirely sure how they work for non-US vallers

Someone please help I'm trying to get a refund through the ai bot but it's keeps autocorrecting the email to some other account that isn't even mine. It has the right username but wrong email the ai is stupid and not helpful at all. I doubt they'll refund me if it's the wrong email and they charged me $130 wtfff.

You should be able to get it to Open a ticket if you used the Billing/Refund related option

Support does not exist. My credit card needs to be updated - the site won't accept new card details. The AI agent is a waste of time. The email support address bounces and suggests the AI agent. The listed 800 number is ignored.

I'm simply trying to make sure Chess.com gets paid, and they're making it impossible. If they close my account, I'll simply use Lichess.

This is where we are in today's society: companies certainly want their cash, but they're not willing to earn it. When support gets shifted down on the list of priorities, the future is dim.

How do I speak directly to a support agent?

When I use the support tab on the website to ask for a refund, it tells me that I already have an open ticket and they've "nudged" my support specialist.

I then get an email from a specialist ("Faizi from Chess.com") offering a discount instead of a refund. Sure, an understandable attempt to retain me as a customer. But when I politely reject the discount, and once again request a refund, I get no response.

When I go back to the support tab and mention that my email has not been responded to (it's been 4 days!), the bot says "We don't offer support over phone or email, so right here is the best way to reach our team!" This is a blatant lie because the bot specifically directs me to continue the ticket over email and refuses any more help in the chat, and the chat is "ended".

So I'm being actively ghosted by the support team. I have been very polite and there is nothing out of the ordinary about this refund request, so I don't know why I'm being ignored.

How do I actually request a refund? Can I close this ticket and start a new one, hoping to get a specialist who won't ignore emails? When I try to restart the process in the support tab, the bot just tells me to go back to the existing emails and does nothing new for me.
