I have the same problem. It looks like there is a time limit per move, thinking longer then 1 minute is not allowed.

The answer here is simple, the site is broken. It has never worked and it never will.
The same thing happened to me on Bullet. I had a time balance of over 40 secs and my opponent down to 12 secs then suddenly game was abandoned and it showed that I had lost? And now I can't start a new game? What's up?

I had a winning position and I was trying to figure out will a certain tactic work. Since there was a lot of stuff to calculate I took my time, but I had plenty of time left on my clock. Suddenly, it said that I abandoned the game and that my opponent won.
I played this game on a new site and in the "Focus" mode, maybe that has something to do with it. I am using Mozila Firefox

Yes. Just happened to me. The opposition had 5.31 left, me 6.33. He wins becuase I "abandoned". Is this new?
Doubt it. Having the same problem with Chromium and without focus mode. This has happened 3 times in a row for me, each time when I spent slightly longer than usual on my move. (30-60 sec) Also happened to one of my opponents.
Pretty sure this bug only appeared today. I'm going to use a different website in the meantime since this makes the game literally unplayable for me for anything longer than 3 min blitz.
Same thing happened to me. I had over 5 mins. Is there a support email I can address that matter with?

Just happened to me twice this morning. Not best pleased.

I was playing a 10 min game. While i was thinking about my next move the game was suddenly abandoned and i lost!!
I still have over 6 min on my clock so i cannot understand how can such a thing happen. Can something be done about this?
