Game Explorer and Book Openings down?

Hi, I couldn't find any mention about the game explorer and book openings being down, but I haven't been able to get to them since the updates yesterday.  I tried various reload/refresh tricks, without success.  Is it down, having problems, or is it just me?

the main explorer is up ( www.chess.com/explorer ) but the My Games (chess.com games) are down. we're working hard on it!!

Hi, I'm Ben. I work with Jay and Erik on a few things around here. We believe that the YouTube button that was available in the editor yesterday is what causes the error message you're seeing. Until we figure out and fix the cause, we've removed the button.

You're still getting the error because you already have a video in your profile. Here's what you can do:

  • Use a different browser (Firefox or Safari work) when editing your profile (note: you can use Internet Explorer to view you profile, you just can't edit a profile that has a video in it); or
  • Remove the video by deleting it from your profile.
We hope to get the YouTube feature working in all browsers soon. Thank you for your patience.
