It is also freaking irritating when you place trust in the system, fail to notice you should not be playing a particular opponent due to their poor rating range, make a move, and cannot even abort. At least extend the abortion option another couple of moves if your staff is going to lazily and incompetently do NOTHING about this problem that I have brought up numerous times!!! And no, I am not repenting for calling your staff lazy and incompetent until they are neither lazy nor incompetent! They can add fluff that doesn't even matter to the game of chess in regards to the graphics, they ought to be able to fix this as well and yet this PROBLEM appears to be on their back-burners!!!
Game settings are NOT saving!!!
January 2022 and this is still an issue. The settings remain during a particular session, but when I stop playing and return after some time the same day or the next, the settings reset to defaults. Particularly, the outgoing rating range (haven't experimented with other settings).
Preferences for me are still not saving. Ive done the necessary browser refreshes and updates. Ridiculous.
same here chess homies! I am getting tired of this. I am not saying they are lazy (they are probably working relatively hard) but they need to pay more attention. Mine are working today after 1/2 year of crap.

yes of course, as I mentioned is happens in between games that are seconds apart sometimes

I have my settings saved to play players in the following rating ranges...
minimum: -50 maximum: +400. I have it in both boxes in my live chess so that my starting rating range is there and my outgoing range is the same (why there are two categories, I don't know).
I find that chess.com, even AFTER I save my settings keeps changing the outgoing section to minimum: ANY maximum: ANY. I have reported this bug numerous times and chess.com staff TWIDDLES THEIR FINGERS AND DOES NOTHING BUT SAY, "Yes...problem...mhmmm...problem..."!!! FREAKING DO SOMETHING AND FIX IT!!! I NEVER want to be paired with someone who is minimum: <-50 again!!!
