In the past couple of days I've noticed that things seem a bit slow at this site. I've edited a post here and there in my threads and the revised post was slow to appear. Anyone else having problems ?

We are seeing more and more complaints about the auto-bots running amok and I feel that things could be improved a bit. If a auto-bot flags an account perhaps that action could be brought to the attention of a mod so that things could double-checked ? This might help to reduce the problems with the auto-bots ?
If they cared enough to bother with the initial complaint, that might work out. Otherwise, no.

One can assume that these auto-bots were brought in here to allow for faster monitoring but they have no sense of what might be allowed because of the circumstances. A time limit might be set up so that if anyone who has been here longer than say one year would be double-checked by a Mod before a mute occurs. Customer-service should certainly be part of any business that deals with the public.
