How do I make a chess diagram [with moves] appear in a post?

Hi guys,

If I want to show a position, I'm sure there is an easy way to do it on chess.com but I don't know how. Can someone explain it or point me to the right link?

This is for adding positions to tactics trainer, an endgame I played [that was published a long time ago] and 1-2 interesting and different tactical moves in rated play.

thanks!

Are you talking about this sort of thing?

If you are, then you click on the little chess board icon on the comment tool bar (all the way on the left). From there it should be easy to figure everything out. Smile

Haha, wow thanks! That was ezpz...

Laughing You're welcome.

How do I put in the other variations in blue? Still struggling...

After you make the first move you want, just click on the back arrow and make the other move, that will start the variation string.

Or instead of clicking on the arrows to get to the move you want to add a variation to, you can just click on the move and then enter the variation moves.
