By playing in official over the board rated events and being good enough to get a high rating.

Those are just nomal awards/trophies that are given by other members from games. I didn't realize the site started calling them badges and split them out from the fun trophies 

But how do we award them to people???

You can search on google on how to give them.After a game click on the info tab then click send award.Sometimes it doesnt appear, then just try again by going to archive.
