I reported a person for swearing at me, but support didn't seem to do anything about it. I didn't see that his account got closed, nor a message telling me that action has been taken, so how did the report not get to the support? How many different players need to report that person so that support will look into it?
It depends how you report. If you use the report button in their profile, you won't normally get any indication anything was done.
However, the site goes through a process that includes verifying the reported member needs action (based on the report and history on the account). What's done depends on the severity but normally will start with a warning/reminder of the site policies. A mute is likely for repeat offenders, with the mute length dependent on severity and/or the number of occurances.
Account closures are generally for the most severe violations of community policies.
