How to draw arrows

can't see any arrows

only the arrows you draw after the last move are shown , so you should stop wherever you want to show something and then continue on another board ( though just typing it in would be a lot easier )

Now that I know it's possible, that isn't what stops it.

 

You need to put in the full line first, add any text notation you want, then add in the move arrows or highlights:
