how to post a great game?

I can't get the PGN viewer to work - there is no copy function and although I can download a file, when I try to paste it in (here for example) it looks like computer code.  although the program works well on my desktop.

I am no GM but had a great time with this game (and love the site).  thought others might enjoy it too and wanted to post on forums.  the best I can do is link to archives.

thanks for trying to help.  so the first post says to get game you want on screen.  did that.  then it says "click get PGN".  but there is no command "get PGN" with the game up.

there is a "download" button. that permits a PGN file to download.  if I double click on PGN file it opens and plays.  but I don't see how, within a chess.com screen to get the dialogue you are describing.  I appreciate the post and your quickly posting it yourself - it can't be too complicated.  but I have no way to duplicate what you describe.

looks like a firefox browser.  I have a chrome browser.  is that the issue?

so I figured out how to get the correct coded language (it's through the share command) and again, a good working game comes up when I paste it in, using the command on upper left of this screen (insert chess game or diagram).  but what is below is what the system then pastes into the post.
