How to read message on Android device

How do you see messages in Android app? I can see the list of my messages. But when I click on a message, I get a blank screen with a "Write your message" dialog box. I can't see the actual message. I see same behavior on both my Android phone and tablet. This is probably user error, but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

I have seen this reported as a bug .

They are working to fix it, according to Martin.

I think most of the Android devices are impacted, but not all of them. I recently broke my old phone (Samsung) that worked with the messages and website, but now i have another phone (Google) that doesn't work. I still try to be active in the forums tho

Problem is fixed in version 4.5.0 and will hopefully be rolling out soon.

Good-----I'm having the same trouble reading MY Chess.com messages, too...it's caused at least one misunderstanding...
