How to see the vote chess tally before you vote

This link seems to indicate that in some vote chess games you can see the vote chess tally before you vote. In our group vote chess game that doesn't seem to be possible. I can not find any option to do that. Perhaps, this is only for a chess.com run vote chess game?!?

Anyone know about this?

Edit: Oops, forgot the link: https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/articles/1444820-how-do-i-play-vote-chess-

It is possible for all the vote chess games. I don't remember exactly how, but you need to modify a couple of letters and numbers into the game's http address.

Oh, that is interesting, Banana_Zigana... Thanks! Maybe I'll go googling for some information!

Google isn't helpful. :(

This is an example posted by a friend of mine:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the URL to see what the votes are for this move without voting:

http://www.chess.com/votechess/game?id=65114&mv=1

Aside: the 'mv=' in the URL is a bit misleading; it's more like 'ply' and our moves are move 1 is 1, move 2 is 3, move 3 is 5, etc.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can't do a test now, as I've no games where I haven't voted yet, but I know it works.

Thanks so much! :) :) :) It's our opponents turn right now, darn it. As soon as it's our turn, I will test that out!

You're welcome. I'm always happy if I can help. :)

In general, click on archive and select out last move.  Check the URL, for example:

http://www.chess.com/votechess/game?id=62724&mv=59&san=Rab8

the last bit is the move that was made so ignore that. You need to look at the mv=59 part.  Add 2.  This gives, in the example:

http://www.chess.com/votechess/game?id=62724&mv=61

This will show the current vote for the move you are on.

Thank you, too, Makhai! I hadn't been logged on and I forgot to try this out before I had to vote, Arggh!

That works perfectly! Thanks so much, Banana Zigana & Makhai! :)

Makhai is right, it works

but it does not disclose who voted for what move UNLESS you vote yourself

is there a way to know who voted for what move before myself voting?

PERHAPS Makhai know and can explain!

normally vote chess admns would like to know  the tally of who voted for what move to achieve their most desired move, otherwise there is no crooked intention!!!
