I don't receive an alert 8 hours before my time is up

I have a member in one of my clubs who experienced this, no alert....lost on time, one time he was 2 pieces up!
But the question is WHY now?
It never happened before. I never changed the settings of correspondence games.
It doesn't make sense. And the other question is what I can do about this problem.
Probably the best you can do, is writing to support@chess.com.
I already did. I hope to receive an answer soon.
"Soon" and "Chess.com's Support" are probably words from two different languages.
Anyway: If they're in a mood to do so, they can restore your games.
This is the reason why I lost my last 2 games on time.
It is the 1st time this happens since I joined chesscom in 2008. The question is why.
