But when I click them they are not free. So then stop sending me them. I'll give you 99 dollars for a year of diamond 💎 membership. Let me know.

They do require you to enter a valid method of payment to sign up for the trial.  But if you try it for a few days (up to 7) and don't like it, you can cancel and you will owe nothing.   

That is why they call it free.

considering all the things I've seen do you trust not being 'accidentally' charged?

I've seen people forget to cancel when they weren't intending to continue the membership. In such cases, opening a ticket with support can get a refund.
