Inviting friends

Last time i posted this in hebrew so sorry if it gets considered spam.

i read some days ago an old post that when you sent an invitation to a friend and he register himself you got a month premium account for free. Is that correct?

When this friend gets to chess.com automatically you get him as a friend. Is tnehat correct?

If you use the option to invite a friend from the site and your friend signs up from that link and then upgrades to premium, then yes.

If any of those steps aren't used, it doesn't count.

I described my experience in another topic; I guess, even if you invite someone with your referral link, this person got added to your friends list but somehow it isn't synchronized with the "Bring a friend" achievement.
