IOS app freezing

I’ll be in a game and the time just stops moving. Completely freezes the clock. If I restart the app, it reopens my game, it’s my turn, and my previous move didn’t register. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Just had the same problem after upgrading the app on an iPad.  Found this thread during the game and used the trick of killing the app several times during play to get our clocks started again.

To everyone having the same issue, I found a fix (kind of, this still definitely needs to be fixed). Just hit the button that takes you to the previous move. Sometimes this itself will just start moving the clock again, or you can make that move again. So, back button- take movie again, or just back button.
Hope this helps some of you!

Same!!!!! and it makes e angry.

There are 2 things that works to solve this

1. Chess.com fix this issue!

2. Force close the app and re-open it. Game continues.

Maybe it's a sign.

A sign like... the developer needs to fix it because many are paying money to play chess here and like having a good gaming experience.

Yes. Agree. For me so far it is just ten minute games. But I’m moving to the other major chess site until I hear this is resolved. Diamond member but I’ve had games freeze on me every day for the last week.

I faced the same problem many times. In the middle of a game, suddenly the clock stops and my move doesn’t register when the clock starts again, also i lose time when it works again. any solution please ?
