is it glitch?

I had a game right now, my last game. My opponent had a pawn at a5, i had pawns at b5 and a6. No more figures close to our pawns. And he moved his pawn from a5 to b6 to empty field. And my pawn at b5 disappeared. What a hell is going on? My ass burning.
Unfortunately can’t add screenshots but it looks very very weird.

This is a special rule called en passant.
