Is there any way to get your ELO reset?

Drop your ego. You'll focus better and beat your CURRENT ELO POINTS. Not to mention one loss come on, You'll always have loss!

Lemme be harsh: You are barely over 1200. By definition, you should have plenty of stains on your record - just like the rest of us Amatuers. Anyway, how can it be a stain if you didn't technically lose?

Well, under normal circumstances it would have been aborted but maybe it was a glitch or bug? But itdo not matter anymore since it is a thing in the past. Nobody is going to judge you by your previous record, it is how well you are are playing in the present that counts.

If you did not have that loss, you would have played different opponents and would probably have a different loss. The elo system is stuctured to reflect your current strength so games in the past have less and less significance the more you play.

Well, I'm not arguing that people should be ashamed of losses, or that I would have had a perfect record if I continued playing. Everyone is arguing strawmans here.
What I'm saying is that 1) I didn't even know that the game happened, 2) it wasn't my fault and it was a problem on chess.com's part because it should have been a 'game aborted' if neither party played a move.

For those 2 reasons alone, I feel that a request would be justified if it was a glitch with the system. Imagine if people just logged on their accounts with games on their record they didn't actually play.
Even if I don't get the reset, at least I may have brought a bug to their attention
P.S. I feel the aggressive responses are unwarranted and irrelevant to the topic at hand. But I'd just like to say for the most part my encounters with chess.com members have been friendly. Thanks for your time.
