The issue today is that you can log out and even clear your cookies and the same people appear online when they logged out ages before etc

The 'stealth bug' is a feature that many people have been asking for!

yes this has been happening, all last night to me
i've seen people who the lag says they are offline, and i'm playing them in chess.
I am on live chess and i sign off, it says i'm still on.
yes, i am having the same issue. especially on online chess. the player is online but the icon that determines that they are online is not displayed when i am making my move during the online chess.
are you going to report this?

Donna, since you say you play chess on your phone a lot, challenge someone to an unrated game and the opposing player will say if the icon syas you are online or not. play from your phone though

well that's good! sorry if you like smoking but our school always has these assemblies about NO SMOKING and i've been "siding" with them and their awkward "chant" has been stuck in my head.

Hey, Karl! You quit smoking today? Please feel free to be as crabby as you want. I'll even offer you my body to kick and punch and mutilate all you want if that will help. Please, please, please do not quit quitting!!!!!!! Check with Donna -- she did it!! It's tough, I know, but YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
My husband is a heavy smoker and he's got health problems galore, but he just won't give up the love of his life: his nicotine.
Stick with it, Karl!!! After some time (how long would you say, Donna?) you'll be ever so glad you did.

I smoked for about 18 years but been stopped now over 7 months :-) getting back on topic i've been on my phone all evening and still showing as online

did you ask someone who is playing you on online chess if the icon syas you are online?
yes, but try asking someone who plays online chess against you.
oh. hmm... type it in when you are on your computer then quickly log back on on your phone and log off on you computer.
