I think it's because it's live chess, you can choose who you play, but not who plays you. It's like OBT play. Thats not written in stone, but that is what I think the reason is.

feyfey: Unfortunately there are many ways to be an a*hole without crossing the line into breaking rules. Just the latest example: my opponent plays some 30 moves of an opposite Bishop ending with completely symmetrical pawns.
knightspawn: I don't see how that's different with turn chess, and the feature is there for turn chess.

Why is there no "blocked" list in Live as there is in turn chess? There are many players who I don't ever want to play again.
