Live Chess drag and drop not working in Chrome

For the past week, every time I play live chess in the Chrome browser the interface sometimes prematurely "drops" pieces when I attempt to drag and drop to move. For example, twice in my last game it happened. Moving bishop from f1 to c4 it "dropped" on e2.  Later, castling the King dropped 1 square short and simply moved over instead of castling. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Me too. The pieces don't drag correctly and I'm using Chrome.

Admin, fix this! It's making it unplayable.  Significant early drops in 9 of my last 10 games.

Best switch to IE mate, the solution to most problems

I'm having this same problem, but with FIREFOX. I move a piece, and its dropped along the way. Furthermore, I have then PREMOVED the piece to the destination square in some cases.....

For example, in stead of castling 8.0-0

I played

8. Kf1

9. Kg1

AAAAAAAH!

After spending some time trying to figure this out, it looks like it happens when the ads update.  Probably not something they are going to fix.

Really? This never happens to me. I play bullet though. I spend a millisecond per move in the air haha

I had a similar problem using Chrome (IE worked OK).  Here was my solution:

I had the exact same problem and solved it by 'removing' the Norton toolbar (clicking the ^ character on the toolbar to 'hide the toolbar for this page').

This problem occurs on Chrome browser.  The mouse problem occurs whenever the toolbar is present at the top of the web page; the problem goes away as soon as I 'hide' that toolbar.

It has been happening to me also, I was using iternet explorer, then downloaded firefox and still he same thing happened. It's random but very annoying. Does anyone know of a good browser or a solution? I have played internet chess for years and have not had any issues until lately.

This worked for me.  Thanks!

Hey thank  you, I removed all of my toolbars completely uninstalled them. It seemed to help at first but I still get random piece dropping, I am using internet explorer 11. I also tried firefox and it did not help either. One of the admins suggested I refresh the interface with shift+F5 and it seems to work for a little while.
