Live chess keeps "loading"

Sort:
WobblySquares

I can't currently log into live chess on my PC computer.
That is to say it seems to run fine in the background but "loading" and the greyed screenfilter stays infront of it preventing me to click anything.

Windows 7 and the problem is the same both in Firefox and IExplorer. Both with the normal and basic version of live chess.

I'm located in the Netherlands.

Have you tried v3 of the site instead? Shouldn't really matter but might be worth a try.

I have similar problem. Eternal LOADING. I tried another account and it works. So its not comp or browser problem. It is account problem. What should we do?

ArtificalHuman

Yesterday, chess.com was dealing with a DSos attack. This may be the reason why you couldnt connect to live chess.

Will support read it? I cant log in.

You really should open your own topic and/or ticket to staff.

You might try deleting all your cookies for the site and the your cache. There might be cached files that have account level hooks (just a guess).

Also, what browser?

I have the same problem as wobblysquares. It must have got something to do with a script. I don't know what I can do about it. In the mean time I play on another site.

Google Chrome works.

woland1

Its no matter what browser because one account works well and one account always loading. It is account problem, not browser or computer or operating system.

Senior-Lazarus_Long

How many accounts do you have?

woland1

My account and account of my friend. He use it on my comp to check. And his account works well.

Problem is still not fixed and I can not play. Staff? It's not my browser or computer as it does the same in Chrome on my Android device.

Ah. Found where to click to try the new version of chess.com (At the bottom of the screen) and that works.

When trying it in v3 are the symptoms the same?

Also, when your friend tries on your machine is he using your OS user account? Basically, you log on to the site and try, it fails. So you log off the site, then your friend logs on to the site and everything works?
