Losing connection during games at Chess.com

So, I've lost both of this games due to "Reconnecting..." issue...
Even the second one where my connection is great at the moment and I'm with 1:52 and the opponent is at 0:00?
Does anyone knows to tell me why and where is the problem?
justbefair? justbesilent?

Looks like you got disconnected on both games.

Oh so there is the problem! Now I see it! Thank you so very much for your help, I'll go and clear my cache and cookies right away!
Thumbs down and ROFL @ moderators here. You guys are hilarious.
You wont admit that it's not problem in me, but on the site... You're so blindly loyal that you wouldn't even consider my problem, congrats!
Cheers, I give up!

Doesn't it looks like my opponents got disconnected, no?
Really?
Maybe look again at those screenshots that I've posted?
What's your second opinion?
I did not have any such problem for a long time, but it happened in my latest game, though it came back after a minute or so.
I am more prone to have reconnection problems on Lichess though this seems to be the opposite of what many people have.
I'm still losing bunch of games because of this "Reconnecting..." issue, and still no one even wants to even consider this as the site issue and not mine..
Pretty lame for the chess site No1 in the world.
Shame..

There are a lot of different things that can result in getting disconnected from the live server process.
The vast majority of those are outside the site's control. The site can handle the disconnect detection and reconnect code, how to handle the disconnect, and the locations of servers. However, traffic goes through a lot of other equipment that can cause issues, as can processes on the client device or network.

Try switching to Linux and use Firefox as your browser, it reduces the "swimming in molasses" effect on this site.

Ok, I understand that, but I'm also playing other multiplayer games online in real time and I never had any issues with connectivity and time lags anywhere, so how come that I have it only on this site?
And I'm not talking about few seconds time lags, but 15 to 60 seconds time lags....
And I'm sure that every problem has a solution, that's why I write here, to see if anyone had similar issue and maybe offer a solution, rather than tell me to clear my cache and cookies.. But no luck, I guess..

Thanx for advice, but I'm using Windows all my life and there's no way I'm switching to Linux because of this.
Also, even Chess.com recommends Chrome as the best browser to play on..

It really depends what you use Windows for. If its only browsing, then Linux Mint is really great. It can also run Steam games fine. And I wouldn't recommend Chrome when this goes like a rocket on Firefox ![]()
justbefair, all this is good and great, of course, but it would be more convenient to talk about it with a real person, rather than with a neural network.
I just did it and I saw that it works.
