They may have accidently blocked you when clearing their notes. It's easy to do - especially when drunk. I've done it.

More than once. The number of chess.com moves/posts/actions I would love to have back in my pocket are legion!

Well it turns out that I did actually get in contact with my friend via the email message option. He eventually figured out how to unblock me.. lol 
I have received a message from a friend on chess.com but when I try to reply it tells me that I am blocked from sending the user a message. How can I notify them of this if I cannot get in contact with them. Please help.
