I have a BB 8830 and it is working ok.
I had problems awhile back, but after I upgraded by BB's OS it's been fine.
If you want to try that, go to options>about on your BB. The OS is the third line down (mine is v4.5.0.186, for example). If yours is less than v4.5 there is probably an update available, call your cell phone provider and ask.
Incidentally, when I upgraded from v4.0 to v4.5 it added some internet browser improvements and new apps. On the down side, half the time you hit the menu key you have to click "full menu" which is of course why you hit it to start with... Net-net it is better, however.

Cant use it on a 9700.... I only upgraded my account to go mobile!
