Well, I would not care much if someone has multiple accounts. BUT, if it is used to boost his ratings by playing against himself, then report him:

Okay, I'll add more info. What if he does it because, according to him, he gets a foul mouth in his games, so he needs several accounts - presumably either because he doesn't want people to remember him, or because he needs to switch accounts when he's banned?
Regardless of what he thinks, it is still a violation of the policy:

Can I have multiple accounts?

No, not only do we strongly discourage the use of multiple accounts; we also consider it a form of cheating. While there are no really good reasons to have more than one account, there are several rather bad reasons for doing so: - to artificially increase one's chess rating by playing fake games with non-existent "members"- to vote multiple times per move in a Vote Chess game - to allow a player to see comments on their games in progress - to create mischief in the forums Please restrict yourself to a single Chess.com account, and avoid all suspicion. Also, if it's just a new username you are after, please see here. |
But as I said, I would not care whether someone uses multiple accounts, as long as there is no correlation between the accounts (except of the fact that they all have the same owner).
What do I do if I know someone has multiple accounts?
