My Friend Feels Unsafe

My friend can be a troll sometimes but yesterday he messaged me telling me that someone who he messed with "Knew who he is". He doesn't feel safe on this website knowing that people might be able to find him, what do I do?

if your friend is serious then they should close their account and do their best to erase any traces that it connects them. Also, assuming you guys are under the age of 18, you should tell your parents about the incident, better safe than sorry.

But what can we do about the person who said it? if they were able to do this to him; whats not saying they have done this or are doing this right now to others?

report them to chess.com, there is not much more you can do.

I agree with Chess_player_lol, but if he/she said that and nothing else it looks like a bluff.

 just know that e/t u say & do on the internet can be held against u in the court a security.

Now, the closest solutions are fleeing or using the less non-violent way.

He closed his account, however both him and I despise roleplay, we don't hate it; but we never like doing it.
