New league achievements not working

Has anyone recieved the new achievements? If yes do we have to contact support?

From what I heard, they work, just not retroactively.

You can contact support@chess.com and they will give you the awards (assuming you have qualified.)

The achievements will populate when you promote. The site is also working in a way to backfill them for those that don't promote or can't (due to being in Legend).

Promote? I think the league cycle has reset few days back. Also I didnt get your point that how will I get achievements, I cant promote does it mean I have to deliberately move to lower league and promote to be eligible for achievements.

Promote, as in moving from one league to another, not just resetting and staying in the same league. The backfilling process is actively being worked on so should happen when that is decided and tested

I just received mine after visiting the main League page: https://www.chess.com/leagues

 

Not sure if it was due to that or the backfill process is working.

The problem was on their end, those who have not recieved it yet can contact support and they will unlock it for you

That isn't necessary and wasn't a problem on the site's side; it just wasn't implemented bto backfill previously.

 

They started the backfill process, but at this point have temporarily turned that off. Promotion will still award them.
